In your new role as a Relief Social Care or Support Worker, you will
work directly with service users from a range of backgrounds,
including but not limited to: Disability, mental health, addiction,
homelessness, youthwork, both residential and emergency accommodation.

You will support people with a variety of needs and offer the highest
quality of care. You will empower people to live self-determined lives
in socially inclusive communities, and accomplish their goals, in
accordance with the mission and values of the organisation.

Your new role also requires administrative duties and
responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues
and line manager to implement placement plan objectives, ensuring
service users receive the agreed quality and quantity of services.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

To succeed in your new Relief Social Care or Support Worker role, you
will have

* A minimum QQI 5 in Social Care/ Care Assistant or related field
* A full driver?s licence
* Flexibility in work hours
* Knowledge of relevant Social Policy legislation
* A calm, welcoming and patient attitude.
